John Simmons has worked with natural history museums for more than 50 years, and has presented international workshops on the care of natural history collections and fluid preservation since 1998.


The topics addressed in this workshop include the history of preservation of natural history specimens, a review of the published literature and practices of specimen preservation, and how to manage fluid-preserved collections of all types. John can deliver this workshop in both English and Spanish.
